Data Explorer

If you’ve ever had to update a security plan before, you probably had to browse multiple websites providing SRM related data, filter it out and make sense of it. It’s tedious and time consuming. Not anymore!

With the Data Explorer you get curated information directly in Somari as you are working on your security plan. All in one place.

Somari On A Mobile Phone

Accessability is an important feature of any product. It’s a constant work in progress. We’re starting by making sure that Somari is fully usable on any device. Today’s video shows you how Somari looks on mobile browser.

new

Staff List Feature

The Staff List feature is the internal address book for all your staff, including the ones that do not have Somari accounts (ex: drivers, guards, …). It’s a simple and efficient way to share contact information within your organization.

You will never again waist time entering contact details manually on your phone.

improvement

Ability to reset the Security Level of a site

You can now reset the Security Level of a site. This is helpful in case you are still working on the evaluation of the security indicators and what set the site value later. Or if you had set it by mistake.

improvement

A More Readable Breadcrumb

The breadcrumb is located at the top of every page and serves two basic purposes:

  • Tell you where you are
  • Allow you to navigate back where you came from

We’ve just made it so the last item of the breadcrumb, indicating which page you currently viewing, a little bigger to attract more attention and help you find that important information.

Evacuation Plan / Itineraries Feature

In high-risk contexts, you can’t build a Security Plan without an Evacuation Plan. One of the things that you’ll need to do is to specify the evacuation itineraries that your team can follow.

With Somari you can easily create custom itineraries for your Evacuation Plans. This is how it works:

  • Either search for a landmark or just drop a pin on the map to specify start and destination.
  • Drag the route to add any waypoints that you need.

It’s that simple. Watch the video below for a demo of the feature.

Security Plan - Reordered Navigation Tiles

The tiles in the Security Plan allow you to navigate each tool. We’ve reordered them, both for countries and sites, so that they better reflect the structure of an actual Security Plan.

Security Level Feature

Although each context is unique, organizations need to compare, in some aggregated way, the level of security of each site of operation. This is done by setting the Security Level of a site.

This feature is implemented as follows:

  • Score a set of indicators from 1 to 5. Each level has a description in order to increase consistency of ranking across countries and sites.
  • Indicators are grouped in categories.
  • Both indicators and categories are customizable.
  • Give the site an overall score (from 1 to 5). The security manager manually aggregates the score of all indicators to account for context specificities.

Watch the video below for a full demo of the feature.

  • Suggestions for mitigation measures associated to the selected threats
  • And more…
